It’s true! IHG One Rewards is offering a free Diamond status for a limited time. All you need to do is to register and you’ll get Diamond status instantly.
Here are the details:
- Your Diamond status is valid through the end of 2022.
- Complete 10 nights by December 31, 2022 to extend your Diamond status through December 31, 2023.
You can register through this link, type in your membership number, and your status in the IHG One Rewards loyalty program will be upgraded in a few minutes.
However, some people have been experiencing problems with registering lately and it seems that IHG may have pulled out the offer. For those who have already registered and successfully earned a Diamond status, it’s going to be a waiting game to see if IHG will let members keep their new status for the next few months.
Just be careful not to make a lot of non-refundable IHG bookings because you don’t know if your status will be taken away from you or not.
