Which States Are Vaccinating Foreigners In The USA?

Can foreigners be vaccinated in the United States? And if yes, which states are vaccinating foreigners in the USA?

The USA is one of the countries with the highest percentage of its population vaccinated. Globally the discrepancy between supply and demand naturally pushed foreign travelers to seek their vaccine shot abroad and even out-of-state residents to travel across the country to get vaccinated.

Many foreign visitors, immigrants, and out-of-state US residents succeed in getting their COvid-19 vaccine in the US. However, there are no official policies regulating vaccine tourism yet, so it’s an unchartered land.

Travel agencies have already created vaccine tourism packages. Still, in reality, there is absolutely NO legal way for them to guarantee you will get your shot if you are a foreigner.

Right now, it’s legal to fly to the US, but if you are coming from a country on the banned list, you’ll first have to spend 14 days in a country that isn’t banned from entering the U.S., like Mexico. You will also need to apply through the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA), have a valid U.S. tourist visa, or be a citizen of a Visa Exempt country (like Canada).

Alaska

Is Alaska vaccinating foreigners and out-of-state residents? Currently, residents and workers 16 or older are eligible to receive the Covid-19 vaccine in Alaska, meaning you will have trouble getting your Covid-19 shot if you are a foreigner or out-of-state resident unless you are working in the state. However, starting June 1, Alaska will vaccinate tourists with Moderna and Pfizer vaccines upon arrival at major airports in the state.

Connecticut

All individuals 16 or older are eligible to receive the Covid-19. You will probably have a fair amount of chance to get a Covid-19 shot if you are a foreigner or out-of-state resident.

Florida

Is Florida vaccinating foreigners and out-of-state residents? Proof of residence isn’t required anymore so undocumented residents and even tourists can get vaccinated. On May 9th, 2021, visitors were able to get inoculated with the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine for free along with a vaccination card.
