What is the best credit card for an Amazon FBA seller?

FBA = Fulfillment by Amazon

Amazon FBA is a business used by people who are 3rd party sellers that import products from China or all over the world. You send your products to the Amazon fulfillment center, and when someone clicks the “buy button, Amazon takes it from there. Maximizing the features of business credit cards can increase the strength of your Amazon FBA business.

We have chosen 3 cards that we believe are best for Amazon FBA sellers.

Chase Ink Business Preferred: Hands down, This card is one of the best cards for business owners, not just for Amazon FBA. Here are some the reasons why:

  • There’s a huge welcome offer of 100,000 Chase UR points after spending $15,000
  • Chase Ultimate Rewards points are transferable. You can transfer them to a lot of different hotels or airlines and get tremendous value.

This is the best part of this card in our opinion. You earn 3 points for every dollar spent with valuable online business categories. These include 3 points on shipping, travel, and digital marketing. Digital marketing includes Facebook ads, Instagram ads you’re running. You can earn up to 3 points per dollar spent on $150,000 dollars a year. That’s up to 450,000 points!!

The Ink Business Preferred Credit Card does have a $95 annual fee which is a minimal amount that is justified by its features. However, you can opt for the Ink Business Cash Credit card that has zero annual fees. There are also other major differences between the two cards such as their welcome bonus and points earning.

Another great credit card for Amazon FBA is the Plum Card from American Express. New cardholders will have a $0 introductory annual fee in their first year of getting the card, then a $250 ongoing annual fee.

For rewards, you can earn unlimited 1.5% cashback if you pay early but if you forego the cashback bonus, you get payment terms of “net 60.”

When you’re buying things from your suppliers or paying for advertisements as an FBA seller, it’s going to take some time until you see an ROI. With the American Express Plum Card, you get 60 days to repay your credit card bill rather than the standard 30 days. This helps to manage cashflow.

The American Express Plum Card isn’t the only card on the market with Net 60 payment options.

Another really great card for FBA is the Amazon Business Credit Card.

You can either get the regular business credit card or the prime version of the card. Both cards do not have annual fees but the differences lie in the net payment terms and cashback.

Amazon Business Credit Card:

  • Get 3% back or choose to get Net 60 payment terms on U.S. purchases at Amazon Business, AWS, Amazon.com, and Wholefood Market.
  • Get a $100 Amazon gift card once you’re approved for the credit card.

Amazon Business Prime Credit Card:

  • Get 5% back or choose to get Net 90 payment terms on U.S. purchases at Amazon Business, AWS, Amazon.com, and Wholefood Market.
  • Get a $125 Amazon gift card once you’re approved for the credit card.

Typically any other credit card, you will have Net 30 and will have to pay your bill within 30 days. These two cards can either give you Net 60 or Net 90 payment terms, giving you extra months to play around with that cash.
