Can foreigners be vaccinated in the United States? And if yes, which states are vaccinating foreigners in the USA?
The USA is one of the countries with the highest percentage of its population vaccinated. Globally the discrepancy between supply and demand naturally pushed foreign travelers to seek their vaccine shot abroad and even out-of-state residents to travel across the country to get vaccinated.
Many foreign visitors, immigrants, and out-of-state US residents succeed in getting their COvid-19 vaccine in the US. However, there are no official policies regulating vaccine tourism yet, so it’s an unchartered land.
Travel agencies have already created vaccine tourism packages. Still, in reality, there is absolutely NO legal way for them to guarantee you will get your shot if you are a foreigner.
Right now, it’s legal to fly to the US, but if you are coming from a country on the banned list, you’ll first have to spend 14 days in a country that isn’t banned from entering the U.S., like Mexico. You will also need to apply through the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA), have a valid U.S. tourist visa, or be a citizen of a Visa Exempt country (like Canada).

Before we see the eligibility criteria state by state, we recommend reading more about Vaccine Tourism in the U.S. to get an in-depth view of the vaccine tourism situation in the country. Try to see if you’re qualified to get the vaccine first.
That said, let’s see the Covid-19 vaccine policies for each state.
