Deal: Book A RoundTrip New York-Spain Flight For Only 29k Miles
Always remember that once you transfer your Capital One miles, there’s no going back so you need to finalize your plans first before going.
Now, this deal involves two easy steps:
1. Transfer 29,000 Capital One miles to British Airways to get 34,000 British Airways Avios. Just log in to your account and do the usual thing that you do when you transfer miles and it will automatically add the bonus.
2. Go to the Iberia website. Choose New York, JFK as your origin destination and click the city which you want to go to. British Airways and Iberia both belong to OneWorld alliance so can redeem Iberia flights using Avios.
You may choose other origin destinations but the award prices might change. For example, choosing LAX has a much higher price – 42,500 Avios for Madrid and 51,000 for Barcelona. Since Iberia follows distance-based award pricing, it’s best to start your journey from other East Coast hubs like eBoston (BOS) and Washington, D.C. (IAD)
Just remember to book your flights during off-peak seasons to get the best deal possible, which is somewhere around June – September. This is a great deal since a U.S. and Europe round trip flight typically costs 60k-70k miles.
Try A One-Way Business Class For 29K Miles
If you want to fly in style, you can opt for a one-way Iberia business class flight to Madrid which will cost you 29k miles. If you prefer to do a round-trip flight, it will cost you 57k miles.
