YES! You can book Hyatt Residence Club Properties using your World of Hyatt Points. The question that you should be asking is which of these properties you should book because there are currently more than 60 resorts and residencies in Hyatt’s fast-growing portfolio.

Instead of building its own resorts, World of Hyatt is expanding its network of properties across multiple states and countries by establishing partnerships with private residencies and other independent hotel brands through its Destination by Hyatt program.

So, if you have tons of World of Hyatt points at your disposal, let’s dive into the details of what the Hyatt Residence Club is all about and what properties you can book using your points.

What Is The Hyatt Residence Club?

The World of Hyatt Residence Club, which was formerly known as the Hyatt Vacation Club, is a portfolio of timeshare properties which is composed of hotels, resorts, and residences found in the U.S. or abroad.

There are two types of properties that Hyatt offers:

  • Hyatt Hotels & Resorts – Independent hotels and resorts that Hyatt has partnered with.
  • Hyatt Residences – Private resorts or vacation homes in unique locations that Hyatt has partnered with.

World of Hyatt loyalty program members may not be entitled to their respective elite benefits at these properties. For example, Globalist status holders may not receive free breakfast at Hyatt Residences.

However, the main selling point of Hyatt properties is that you have multiple options to choose from ranging from villa-style homes, beach-front houses, to condo-type accommodations. Most of them feature full kitchens, swimming pools, multiple bedrooms, and other deluxe amenities which are perfect for long family vacations.

How Does Hyatt Timeshare Work?

Hyatt Residence properties are booked through a process called timesharing or vacation ownership. The owners don’t actually own the property but they only own the “right to use” the property for an allotted period of time every year.

Basically, it’s like renting a vacation home with other people but you take turns using it based on your assigned annual schedule. Timeshare properties are different from traditional hotels because they offer more space, premium amenities, and unique locations.

Additionally, interested vacation-goers should undergo screening from vacation counselors to check if they’re eligible to be timeshare property owners. You can call +1 844.631.2582 or contact Hyatt properties directly for more details.

Bottomline

Being able to book timeshare properties with points is a big game-changer, especially since the Hyatt Residence Club is gradually adding more properties to its portfolio.

The only downside is that World of Hyatt’s elite members aren’t able to use their elite perks towards these properties, however, the premium amenities and amazing locations compensate for that part. Overall, the benefits heavily outweigh the drawbacks so now it’s time to redeem those points that you’ve saved up for years and book a nice vacation with your friends or family.
