One Day Pass With Delta SkyMiles® Platinum American Express Card

Unlike most airlines, regular passengers cannot purchase day passes to access the lounge. However, if you own the Delta SkyMiles® Platinum American Express Card, you can buy single-entry access to the Sky Club for $50. Cardholders must fly on Delta-operated or partner flights and pay with the card to qualify. Additionally, you can bring two guests with you for an extra fee of $50 each.

Earn Delta Elite Status

If you’re a Diamond Medallion member, you have a couple of options for your yearly Choice Benefits. You can either choose to get a personal Sky Club membership using one of your three benefits, or you can go for an Executive membership using two benefits.

Now, even if you’re not a Diamond Medallion member, People with lower levels of Delta status can still access the Sky Club, but there are some conditions. If you hold Delta’s Gold or Platinum Medallion status, you can enjoy free Sky Club access when traveling internationally on Delta or a SkyTeam airline.

Annual Membership

While we don’t view this as the best choice, it is indeed an option to gain access to Delta Sky Clubs. The standard membership costs $695 or 69,500 SkyMiles and grants you access to the Sky Club lounges whenever you fly with Delta. If you wish to bring friends or family, you can bring up to two guests with you for an extra $50 per person each time you visit. Alternatively, there’s an executive membership priced at $1,495 or 149,500 SkyMiles, allowing you to bring two guests along for free whenever you visit.

For less money and several other benefits, you can have access to Delta lounges by having either the American Express Platinum Card or the Delta SkyMiles Reserve American Express Card. It’s a better deal than buying a separate Sky Club membership.

Delta One Tickets

Passengers traveling in Delta One, whether domestic or international and those flying in the long-haul business class of any SkyTeam airline can enjoy access to the Sky Club lounge. Just ensure your seat isn’t labeled as “First Class” because those seats are not typically considered Delta One and might not grant you access to the Sky Club.

Even if you’re on a domestic Delta flight that’s connecting to an international Delta One flight on the same day, you can still enter the lounge.
