A380 Emirates Seat Configuration

The Airbus A380 is a double-deck, wide-body aircraft operated by Emirates, one of the world’s largest airlines. Emirates has configured its A380 with various seating options to cater to different passenger preferences and travel classes with more than 1500 passenger seats.

Emirates used to have two different setups for the classes of travel on their planes. One had three classes: first, business, and economy, while the other had only two classes without first class. However, with the addition of a premium economy offering, they now have a new configuration with four seating classes. Here’s how the new configurations look:

A380 Four Class Ultra Long Range

With the introduction of Premium Economy, Emirates introduces its Four Class Ultra Long Range. The upper deck features 14 first-class rooms, with four rooms in a row except for the last two at the back, which are opposite each other. Behind the first class is the Emirates Business class, with seats arranged in four rows, some with two seats per row. These business class seats fully recline into flat beds for a comfortable rest.

On the lower deck, the front section is dedicated to premium economy class. The seats are wider, offer more legroom, and are arranged in a 2-4-2 layout instead of the 3-4-3 layout in economy class. Towards the back of the lower deck is the economy class, previously offering over 360 seats before Emirates implemented cabin seating changes.

A380 Three Class Ultra Long Range And A380 Three Class Mid Range

The A380 Emirates provides two Three Classes; the ultra-long-range version of the A380 has fewer seats towards the back of the cabin. On the other hand, the mid-range version of the aircraft typically accommodates between 426 and 429 economy seats. The ultra-long-range variant has a slightly lower capacity with 399 seats.

The upper deck remains consistent across all aircraft, featuring 76 business-class seats and 14 first-class seats.

A380 Two Class Mid Range

This configuration offers business class and economy class, catering to passengers on medium-range flights who prioritize comfort and value. On the main deck, there is an all-economy class section, providing a spacious environment for passengers. Meanwhile, the upper deck is divided between the business class, with 58 seats and the rest with the economy class.
